On the occasion of Garvotsava: Chandigath Pride 2019 ; more than 250 people marched from Panjab University to Sector 17, asserting their sexual identity holding rainblow flags and echoing the slogans of inclusivity.
Keshav Suri Foundation and The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group supported the pride. Around 40 employees from The LaLiT Chandigarh walked down the march along with the Queer Community.
Kitty Su, The LaLiT Chandigarh, also hosted post pride party. Chandigarh’s first drag Queen Ikra and a trans led Gidda Dance group from Punjab enthralled the audience.
