Keshav Suri Foundation organised Queer Mic and Exhibition on September 1, 2019 to celebrate first anniversary of Supreme Court’s Verdict on homosexuality. People through poetry, spoken words shared their journey of being a queer individual highlighting their struggle of finding themselves, accepting and moving forward. The event acted as a platform for people from diverse sections including HIV positive people, Acid attack survivors to come forward and share their experiences and journey of how they have made it better in their lives.
People also narrated their stories of being unique through dance, music which brought tears and smiles at the same time on the face of the attendees.
